About Ira
Ira has been in private practice since 1992 after leaving the Family Caseflow Coordinator position at the Hartford Family Court. He practices in the area of Family Law as a litigator, as collaborative divorce counsel and as a divorce mediator. He is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA), CCDM,Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group, and Central Connecticut Collaborative Family Law Group, IACP, as well as the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations. Ira volunteers as a Special Master for Hartford Superior Court, and is a committee member at Boy Scout Troop 163 and 1163 in West Hartford where he leads most Eagle Scout required merit badges.
Ira has been a special education advocate for his daughter since 2004.
Ira is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and has withdrawn from New York.
